Airports The closest airport is San Francisco International Airport (SFO), which has excellent connections to public transit (BART), huge car rental facilities and a large number of flights. Flying into SFO is generally the easiest choice. Unfortunately, the airport also has a terrible on-time record due to frequent fog, which gets worse as the sun sets. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is also nearby, generally costs less, and connects to downtown San Francisco by public rail (BART). Unlike SFO, which has just a handful of Southwest Airlines flights, OAK is a major Southwest Airlines hub. If you rent a car at OAK, it requires driving across the Bay Bridge, so bring $4 for the bridge toll. Mineta San Jose International Airport also serves the San Francisco Bay Area, but it's over an hour drive away, and will require a car rental.
Public Transit If you are staying in downtown and/or taking public transit, the map below will show you the general map of the area:

area follows: Driving Directions to Restaurant The easiest way to get driving directions to Foreign Cinema is to follow this Google Maps link and click "Get directions". You can also follow Foreign Cinema's manual driving directions, which can be found here. Foreign Cinema offers valet parking for $10. Otherwise, you can find street parking. You do not have to "feed the meters" on Sunday. |
